Ginnifer Goodwin is opening up about her love story with husband Josh Dallas and how she knew they were going to get married before they even started dating.

The actors met while starring together on the ABC fantasy series Once Upon a Time in 2011 and have been married since 2014. The couple has two sons, born in May 2014 and June 2016. They recently made their first public appearance with the kids!

During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, airing on November 25, Ginnifer talked about falling in love with Josh.

“I feel like we’re so disgusting. We’re like we’re best friends and we like get along and we’re super annoying. We like love working together all the time. I know we’re gross,” Ginnifer joked.

She continued, “So he played Prince Charming and I was playing Snow White on this show Once Upon a Time and I know it’s so serendipitous, and I thought that, oh, this guy’s gonna be my best friend, because at that point I didn’t actually know that you could like have the whole package. [I] was super crushing out on him, but also I was like, you know, I didn’t think that it was gonna be in the stars for us.”

“So we actually, he’d never been to Disneyland. He had never been to a Disney park. And we were still not dating, but I was secretly pining, and I am a Disney nut. And so I took the entire cast to Disneyland after we shot the pilot, before we were going into the second episode,” Ginnifer said. “And I was sitting next to him on Big Thunder Mountain, and I have a photo of the moment that it happened, but he threw his arms in the air and he goes, ‘This is the greatest day of my life,’ and I was like, ‘I’m so marrying that guy.’ Like there was no question that like this is my soulmate.”

Veteran actor Dharmendra’s passing has plunged the film industry, his fans, and his family into deep mourning. Legends like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, and many others expressed their grief through heartfelt tributes on social media. Among them, Alia Bhatt paid a touching homage, recalling her experience working with him in Karan Johar’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh was seen at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai on Wednesday to attend Dharmendra’s last rites.

Director Karan Johar, who helmed Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, also shared an emotional tribute. Posting a photograph of Dharmendra, he wrote: “It is an end of an ERA … a massive mega star … the embodiment of a HERO in mainstream cinema … incredibly handsome and the most enigmatic screen presence … he is and will always be a bonafide legend of Indian cinema … defining and richly present in the pages of cinema history … but mostly he was the best human being … he was so loved by everyone in our industry.”

Johar continued: “He only had immense love and positivity for everyone … his blessings, his hug and his incredible warmth will be missed more than words can describe … Today there is a gaping hole in our industry … a space that can never be filled by anyone … there will always be the one and only DHARAMJI … we love you kind Sir … We will miss you so much … The heavens are blessed today … It will always be my blessing to have worked with you … And my heart says with respect, reverence and love … Abhi Na Jaao Chhodke … Ke Dil Abhi Bhara Nahi … OM SHANTI.”

The 29-year-old actress attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: Hal & Harper held at the Robin Williams Center in New York City on Monday (November 24).

The decision drew immediate attention because pre-wedding festivities were already underway in Sangli, with several teammates actively involved. According to sources quoted by the Times of India, the deletion of posts followed “an unexpected turn of events within the family.”

Reports suggest that Smriti’s father fell seriously ill on Sunday (November 23) morning and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Around the same time, her fiancé Palash Muchhal was also admitted for treatment due to a viral infection, although he has since been discharged. With both families facing simultaneous health scares, all celebrations were abruptly paused.

Adding to the speculation, teammates Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil also removed the engagement announcement video from their profiles. However, fans found some reassurance in the fact that Smriti’s older personal photographs with Palash remain on her Instagram, hinting that the relationship itself is not under strain.

Smriti’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, later issued a clarification confirming that the November 23 wedding has been postponed indefinitely. He explained that Smriti was unwilling to proceed while her father remained hospitalised. Deeply close to him, she wanted his health to stabilise before considering any further celebrations. Although the family initially hoped his condition would improve within hours, it reportedly worsened, prompting an immediate halt to all events.

Meanwhile, Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, requested fans to remain sensitive and avoid speculation. She reiterated that the postponement was solely due to Smriti’s father’s health.

The wedding had been planned as an intimate ceremony with close relatives and members of India’s Women’s World Cup-winning squad. Many guests had already reached Sangli when the emergency unfolded. No new date has been announced, as both families remain focused on Shriniwas Mandhana’s recovery.

Shirley, 60, spoke with The Independent for an interview that was published last week about how she was actually a 37-year-old playing the eternally 14-year-old ghost known as Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films.

“The casting director said, ‘Go for it – and don’t mention your age,’” she shared, adding that she’d done a “wee bit of moaning” and then landed the role.

But while many Harry Potter stars were able to launch their careers off the back of the fantasy series, Shirley says she doesn’t think people recognized her.

As for the actual scenes, Myrtle was often found haunting the bathroom where she originally died, so they mostly took place with her alone and in front of a green screen. Still, she says it was a “nice job.”

“When I look back at [debut LP Corinne Bailey Rae], it’s on the other side of… not a wall, but a divide between my two adult lives. That moment [Jason’s death] felt like the end of what that first album term was. I felt like my life was divided between the before and after of that,” she explained.

“As well as changing my life, it also changed my career in a really big way,” Corinne told the outlet. “I knew that I wasn’t really robust enough to be in an industry ‘capitalizing’ on the big industry success of the first record, and setting up sessions with all these big names anyway. I just wasn’t in that place, and the label really knew that and I think that they really left me to it.”

When pressed about her reaction to the press around the time of Jason‘s death and her response, the songwriter shed light on how “it was a very aggressive time journalistically” and she felt “really lucky” to have good people around her.

The star is now channeling that renewed inspiration into her work, sharing with Billboard that she is working on new music.

Kate is on the show to promote her new movie Wildcat, which is being released in theaters and on digital on November 25.

The movie “follows an ex–black ops team that reunites to pull off a desperate heist and save the life of an eight-year-old girl,” according to Deadline. Also starring are Lewis Tan and Charles Dance.

Kate wrote about the movie, “Not only the best cast and crew but also the last movie set my mum was able to visit me on and my God they treated her like the queen she was. And supported me being her carer at night and working during the day which was a lot. Thank you. I’ll never forget the kindness.”

Kate‘s mom tragically passed away back in July.
