The wedding celebrations of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are currently underway, with Haldi preparations taking centre stage. Vijay gave fans a glimpse of the intimate setup in his latest social media stories. The visuals are a mix of traditional grandeur with personal warmth.
The first frame reveals a beautifully styled Haldi venue set outdoors. A circular space has been made, which is enclosed by soft wooden panelling. The space is carpeted with delicate pink rose petals. At the centre sit two small wooden stools, placed for the bride and groom during the ritual. The area has been surrounded by baskets with bright yellow and orange marigold petals. They added a festive and auspicious touch to the setting. The backdrop features lush floral arrangements in warm hues. They created a serene, garden-like ambience.
In another social media story, Vijay has shared a close-up of personalised floral name placards. One flower-shaped card reads “Rushie,” his nickname for Rashmika. Another one reads “Vijay.” The cards are amongst fresh lilies, roses and marigolds. The dĂ©cor details add an intimate and romantic element to the traditional ceremony.
Filmfare had previously exclusively learnt that the bride and groom have planned Virosh Premier League cricket match. They introduced specially designed and personalised jerseys for the match. The cricket match acts as one of the highlights of the celebrations, bringing together close friends and family in a relaxed and competitive spirit ahead of the big wedding ceremony.
The couple had previously confirmed their marriage with the statement, “Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves—you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today – with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it – ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’.”
