Fan excitement for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film, Love and War, has reached fever pitch after new behind-the-scenes photographs surfaced online featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Already one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2026, the film has just ramped up the fan buzz with sightings of its lead actors in character.
The leaked images have Ranbir and Vicky wearing Air Force pilots’ attires, standing confidently beside a MiG-21 fighter jet. Both actors sport matching moustaches, aviator sunglasses, and strong, commanding postures, perfectly embodying the persona of military officers. In another photo, Ranbir is highlighted in a close-up as a pilot, further building curiosity about the character and his relationship with his co-star.
Various photos of Ranbir with Alia Bhatt had also gone viral on social media. Ranbir looks dapper in a crisp white shirt with trousers and a tie in one, while in another, he is dressed up in an elaborate army uniform. Love and War constitutes the first ever collaboration of Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky under the guidance of Bhansali. According to speculations, the plot of the film is around a complicated love triangle; Ranbir and Vicky are said to essay the roles of two officers, whereas Alia plays the woman between them. The story is believed to weave personal conflicts together with massive military action, showing Bhansali’s hallmark style of grandeur, drama, and visual effect.
