Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed his vision for the state’s film industry, emphasizing that talent is the key to success in the global movie arena. Inaugurating Allu Cinemas in Hyderabad, Reddy encouraged the Telugu film industry to aim high and compete with Hollywood, rather than just focusing on regional or national success.
The CM’s statement comes as a boost to the state’s film fraternity, with Reddy highlighting the importance of talent over language barriers. “Language barriers in the movie industry have gone a long time ago, and only talent makes the difference,” he said. Reddy expressed his hope that actor Allu Arjun, known for his exceptional talent, would excel not only in pan-India movies but also in Hollywood.
Reddy’s vision for Telangana’s film industry is ambitious, with plans to make it a part of the state’s success story. He assured the movie industry of the state government’s full support, stating that the Telugu film industry should be in a position to compete with Hollywood. “Our sound (Telugu actors’ talent) should reach there also. Till now, we used to compare our Telugu movies with Bollywood only in terms of collections,” Reddy said.
The CM praised Allu Arjun and his family for their efforts in building Allu Cinemas, a movie theatre complex in Hyderabad. Allu Arjun’s recent film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has been a huge success, becoming the third-highest-grossing Indian film ever. The film, directed by Sukumar, stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh.
Allu Arjun’s next project, AA22xA6, directed by Atlee, is highly anticipated, with Deepika Padukone joining the cast. The film is expected to showcase Arjun’s versatility and talent on a larger scale.
Reddy’s statement has sparked optimism in the Telugu film industry, with many hoping that his vision will bring about a positive change in the industry’s global recognition.
