Actor Soni Razdan recently took her first ride on Mumbai Metro Aqua Line and came away thoroughly impressed. The veteran actor shared glimpses from her journey on social media, giving followers a quick review of the city’s underground metro corridor.
Soni documented parts of her commute to Cuffe Parade, posting photos and videos from the trip. In one of the clips, she was seen walking along the passage leading to the platform and waving at the camera. She also shared a selfie from inside the coach, posing with a friend while seated.
Interestingly, fellow passengers seemed unaware of her presence and did not recognise the actor, allowing her to enjoy the ride quietly like any other commuter.
Sharing her thoughts on the experience, Soni praised the metro for its comfort, cleanliness and efficiency. Posting the pictures and videos on Instagram, she wrote, “Just soooo impressed with the Metro Aqua Line! Spanking clean, cool, efficient and well, just wow. Went all the way from T1 to Cuffe Parade in a jiffy. This may have been my first trip but it won’t be my last!”
The Aqua Line, part of the expanding Mumbai Metro network, has been gaining attention for significantly improving connectivity across the city. Soni’s enthusiastic review resonated with many social media users, who have also been praising the new metro corridor for making travel faster and more convenient.
