Bollywood actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav has finally broken his silence on social media after being granted interim bail in the ₹9 crore cheque bounce case that recently landed him in Tihar Jail. On February 19, the beloved entertainer returned to Instagram with a heartfelt message expressing gratitude to his fans and well-wishers who stood by him during one of the most challenging phases of his life.
Sharing a simple yet emotional note in Hindi, Rajpal wrote, “Aap sabhi ke pyaar aur saath ke liye dil se dhanyawaad,” which translates to “Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your love and support.” He accompanied the post with a folded hands emoji, symbolizing humility and appreciation.
The post quickly gained traction online, with fans flooding the comments section to welcome him back. Rajpal Yadav was released from Tihar Jail on February 17 after the Delhi High Court granted him interim suspension of his sentence. His release came after he deposited ₹1.5 crore in the respondent’s account, as directed by the court.
Upon stepping out of jail, the actor briefly addressed the media waiting outside. Reflecting on his journey, he expressed gratitude for the unwavering support he has received throughout his 30-year career in Bollywood.

As part of the bail conditions, Rajpal Yadav has surrendered his passport and is not permitted to travel abroad without prior court approval. His interim bail remains valid until March 18, when the next hearing in the case is scheduled.
