He added, “I hope society learns to pause before judging someone based on unverified gossip, as words can cause lasting harm. My team will pursue legal action against those spreading false information. Thank you to everyone who has supported me with kindness.”
Palaash-Smriti Unfollow Each Other
Recently, Mandhana unfollowed Palaash on Instagram, although he continues to follow her. Fans noticed she was not wearing her engagement ring in her recent posts, fueling speculation about the breakup. She had recently ended her social media hiatus on December 5 by sharing an advertisement video on Instagram.
Despite these personal setbacks, Mandhana is expected to return to her routine, with her focus clearly on cricket. She has stated that playing for India remains her top priority. Additionally, she will lead the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the upcoming Women’s Premier League, scheduled to start on January 9 in Navi Mumbai.
About Mandhana-Muchhal Wedding
The wedding was highly anticipated, especially following India’s recent Women’s World Cup victory. Smriti had exchanged rings with Palaash after he proposed to her at the DY Patil Stadium during the final. The ceremony was initially scheduled for November 23, 2025, in Sangli, but was postponed indefinitely after a family medical emergency. Smriti’s father was hospitalized suddenly, and Palash also required hospital care due to stress. Facing these crises, both families decided to cancel the wedding for the time being.
Rumours soon circulated, with some accusing Palaash of cheating. His family denied these allegations and condemned the false information being spread about him. In the aftermath, both Mandhana and other Indian cricket stars present at the wedding removed their photos from social media and chose to stay silent. During this difficult period, teammate Jemimah Rodrigues remained in India, withdrawing from the Women’s Big Bash League to support Smriti.
