Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi was originally slated for release on March 27, 2026. However, owing to the impact created by Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2, the Buchi Babu Sana directorial was postponed. On Wednesday evening, the makers officially confirmed April 30 as the film’s new release date.

Summer release
Peddi, an ambitious rustic sports action drama, is currently in the final stages of production. With April 30 locked in as the revised release date, the makers believe they now have ample time on hand. Considering there are no major big-ticket releases lined up during the peak summer window, the team is confident of securing strong theatrical presence across regions. The makers are also keen to capitalise on the extended holiday season to maximise box-office impact. With the revised timeline, preparations are underway for an aggressive promotional campaign. Ram Charan, who is set to resume shooting for Peddi soon, has reportedly instructed the team not to rush the process and ensure smooth execution, given the comfortable time frame. The newly released poster showcases Ram Charan in a rugged avatar, sporting long, unkempt hair, a thick beard and a nose ring, signature elements of his rustic transformation for the film.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s uncle Pawan Kalyan has locked the March 26 slot for his upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The makers believe they can complete the cop thriller in time and secure a significant number of theatres.With both Peddi and Ustaad Bhagat Singh officially announcing their release dates, attention now turns to Nani’s The Paradise and Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit. As both films are aiming for wide pan-India releases, the makers are reportedly finding it challenging to finalise dates that work equally well for Hindi markets. While the situation remains tricky, fans are hopeful that announcements from both teams will arrive soon.
