Charlie Puth is entering an exciting new phase of life as he prepares to welcome his first child with wife Brooke Sansone. The “Attention” singer first confirmed the pregnancy during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October 2025, putting an end to speculation that began after fans spotted a subtle hint in his music video for “Changes.”
The couple initially revealed the news through the emotional visuals of the song, where Puth and Sansone are seen gently resting their hands on her baby bump. The intimate moment quickly sparked conversation online, with fans wondering if the singer had quietly confirmed they were expecting.
Puth later made it official on national television, telling Fallon and the audience, “I’m going to be a dad.” Reflecting on the music video reveal, he joked, “I didn’t leave much to the imagination there,” before confirming that their baby is due in March 2026.
Now, building even more excitement, Puth shared a series of black-and-white and colorful photos on Instagram. The images capture the couple radiating happiness as they prepare for parenthood. In several solo shots, Brooke proudly shows off her baby bump, while candid moments between the two highlight their joy. Captioning the heartfelt post, Puth wrote, “Baby Puth on the way!!!!” followed by a music note emoji.
The couple tied the knot in September 2024 after dating since 2022, and this new chapter marks a major milestone in their relationship. Speaking about fatherhood, Puth expressed his enthusiasm and humor, saying, “I hope the baby likes music, because it’s the only thing I’m good at.” He also shared plans to introduce his child to the music he grew up with, including classics by James Taylor and Luther Vandross—adding playfully that it will happen “whether Brooke likes it or not.”
Interestingly, the baby’s arrival will coincide with another major moment in Puth’s career. The singer is set to release his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, in March 2026. The album features collaborations with Kenny Loggins, Kenny G, and Michael McDonald, and includes the single “Changes.” A world tour is scheduled to begin on April 22.
Describing the project as deeply personal, Puth said the album represents a shift in mindset. Rather than chasing perfection for radio, he focused on authenticity, calling the creative process “very therapeutic.”
