The BTS takeover is officially in full force again. The global supergroup’s highly anticipated BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ just got even bigger. After announcing 79 shows across 34 cities, the group has now added two extra North American concert dates, bringing the total to a staggering 81 shows — all thanks to overwhelming demand from ARMY.
On January 23, 2026, BTS’s official social media accounts shared a statement from BIGHIT MUSIC confirming the additions. “Thanks to the support of ARMY, we are holding one additional show in each city: TAMPA & STANFORD, for the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’. We look forward to ARMY’s love and support,” the announcement read.
The newly added Tampa concert will take place on April 28, 2026, at Raymond James Stadium, joining the previously scheduled April 25 and 26 shows. Meanwhile, Stanford Stadium will host an extra performance on May 19, 2026, in addition to the April 16 and 17 dates. Pre-sale tickets for these new shows opened on January 23, with general ticket sales beginning the following day.
The tour expansion comes alongside another massive milestone — BTS’s upcoming album ARIRANG has already crossed 4 million pre-orders. The group launched album pre-orders just last week, and in only a few days, fans worldwide pushed sales to jaw-dropping numbers. Industry insiders report that pre-sale tickets for the tour’s initial dates, which went live on January 22, sold out almost instantly.
This marks BTS’s first full-length album in nearly four years, with ARIRANG set for release on March 20, 2026. Anticipation is sky-high, as the album represents the group’s long-awaited musical comeback following their break from group releases. The septet will kick off their world tour on April 9, 2026, with additional global dates expected to extend well into 2027.
In just one week, BTS has proven once again why they remain unmatched in global pop culture. From record-breaking pre-orders to sold-out stadiums and expanding tour schedules, ARMY’s power shows no sign of slowing down.
As the countdown to ARIRANG begins, one thing is clear — BTS isn’t just returning. They’re returning bigger than ever.
