The wait is finally over for fans of romantic musicals as advance bookings for Aanand L. Rai’s much-anticipated film Tere Ishk Mein are now officially open. Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film has already created a buzz with its trailer and enchanting soundtrack by A.R. Rahman, keeping audiences in anticipation of experiencing the tale on the big screen.
Produced by Aanand L. Rai and Himanshu Sharma in association with Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Tere Ishk Mein is directed by Rai himself, with a screenplay by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. According to estimates, Mastiii 4 earned 3 crores on its first Sunday. It witnessed a slight improvement from the 2.75 crore minted on the second day. So far, it has successfully competed against De De Pyaar De 2, Thamma, and other rivals at the ticket windows.
The net box office collection after the opening weekend comes to 8.50 crores. Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aftab Shivdasani starrer is now competing against Great Grand Masti (16 crores) to emerge as the 3rd highest-grossing film in the franchise. Including taxes, the gross earnings stand at 10.03 crores.

The wedding of Indian women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal, which was scheduled to take place on November 23, has been postponed indefinitely after serious health concerns arose in both their families. The decision was taken after Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, fell seriously ill and was rushed to the hospital. This led to the wedding, scheduled to take place in Sangli, being called off.
Adding to the concern, fresh reports on Monday, November 24, came in, stating that Palash Muchhal too had been admitted to a hospital, soon after Smriti’s father’s health scare. As per sources, Palash’s health symptoms began to deteriorate and thus he needed immediate admission to the hospital. As per NDTV, he was admitted to a private hospital due to a viral infection that came with increased acidity. Thankfully, his condition was not critical. After treatment, he was discharged and has gone back to the hotel.
Smriti’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, confirmed the development by saying that her father had the health complication early Sunday morning. According to their family doctor, Dr. Naman Shah, a fully active medical team is monitoring Shrinivas Mandhana’s condition. In case his health improves sufficiently, he may be discharged today.
In view of the sensitive situation, the two families have decided to indefinitely postpone the remaining wedding rituals and ceremonies. The new wedding schedule for the couple will be finalized only after assessing the recovery of Shrinivas Mandhana.

Although the celebration has been delayed, the couple is still very positive and determined to celebrate together once their health concerns are taken care of. After the success of Longlegs last year and The Monkey this year, many felt Osgood Perkins had finally settled into a comfortable zone. Yet, the mood around his new horror release has turned into an unexpected whisper. Keeper arrived on November 14 with hardly any buzz at the box office, and the numbers since then have been trailing far behind the level anyone imagined for a filmmaker coming off two strong runs.
Keeper Box Office Performance: A Massive Gap Compared To Previous Films By Osgood Perkins
The Neon-backed release delivered the lowest opening of any Perkins film. Keeper pulled in $1.1 million on its first day in the US and reached only around $2.5 million in its opening weekend from 1,950 theatres. The per-screen average of $1,296 painted a clear picture of how slow the pace was. When these numbers sit next to Perkins’ earlier releases, the gap grows even wider. Keeper’s opening weekend landed 454% lower than The Monkey’s $14 million start, 785% behind Longlegs’ $22.4 million debut and 143% behind Gretel & Hansel. The comparison alone spread quiet disbelief among those following Perkins’ recent momentum.
Second Weekend Turns Even More Grim
The second weekend carried the same dull tone. The weekdays of the second week yielded meagre earnings, and the Friday-to-Sunday stretch did little to lift my mood. Keeper collected $200K on Friday, $240K on Saturday and $160K on Sunday after losing 565 theatres, dropping its total count to 1,365. This added up to a 76.3% fall compared to its already weak opening weekend. For a title expected to ride on Perkins’ rising name, this turn has become a talking point among distributors watching the late-year slate.

Neon Avoids A Major Financial Blow
The worldwide total stands at $4.2 million against a $6 million budget, with around $3.9 million coming from the US alone, per Box Office Mojo. That is close to 92% of the entire global figure, a sign of how limited its reach has been outside of its own country. Yet one thing worked in Neon’s favour. While MUBI poured $24 million into Die My Love, Neon kept its risk smaller by paying about $4 million for Keeper, preventing a financial mess.
Keeper now appears headed for a domestic finish near $5 million, placing it among the most troubled horror releases of the year, which is surprising given that the year has been largely dominated by the horror genre.
