Tere Ishk Mein: Kriti Sanon And Dhanush’s Ganga Aarti Performance Is A Must-See

0

Tere Ishk Mein, Aanand L Rai’s intense love drama, opened in theatres today (November 28), and the team has been actively promoting the film ahead of its release. A few days ago, Rai travelled with lead actors Dhanush and Kriti Sanon to Varanasi, where their visit quickly became the talk of social media.

Photos and videos from the holy city began circulating widely, but what captured the most attention was the sight of Dhanush and Kriti participating in the Ganga aarti. The actors were seen performing the sacred rituals with complete devotion, creating a serene and memorable moment for fans. Another set of images shared by a paparazzi account showed Dhanush beaming with joy as he interacted with a young fan dressed as Lord Shiva at the ghats. Before leaving Varanasi, Dhanush, Kriti, and Aanand L Rai posed for a heartfelt picture with the young admirer, adding to the emotional warmth of the visit.

Earlier, Dhanush posted a series of candid photographs featuring himself, Kriti Sanon, and Rai captured against the backdrop of the Ganga. In his caption, he wrote, “The world is a better place when you are at his feet. Har Har Mahadev. #banaraslove.” The images showcased the trio basking in the golden sunlight, their faces reflecting peace and camaraderie amid the spiritual ambience of Varanasi.

Meanwhile, early ticket sales have shown strong signs of audience support for the Dhanush–Kriti pairing. The film’s powerful emotional narrative, its rich musical landscape, and the trusted creative partnership between Dhanush and Aanand L Rai who earlier collaborated on Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re have significantly heightened anticipation. The recently released trailer offers a deeper look into the turbulent world of Shankar and Mukti, whose love story is raw, passionate, unpredictable, and seemingly beyond the bounds of logic and destiny.

One of the film’s biggest highlights is its soundtrack, composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Their collaboration has already generated substantial buzz, promising a musical experience that elevates the film’s emotional depth.

Netflix Crashes After the Premiere of Stranger Things Season 5

0

Stranger Things Season 5 has finally arrived and the internet did exactly what everyone expected. It exploded. Within minutes of the premiere dropping, fans rushed to Netflix in overwhelming numbers, and according to multiple media reports the platform experienced temporary crashes and slowdowns across regions.

This isn’t the first time Stranger Things has pushed Netflix to the edge. The show remains one of the biggest cultural phenomena of the last decade, and the anticipation for its final season has been unusually intense. But this time, the spike in traffic was so massive that users started sharing screenshots of error messages, frozen screens and long loading times.

The timing also didn’t help. The premiere was launched globally at once, meaning millions logged in around the world within seconds. From the US to India, the UK, Brazil and beyond, fans collectively stampeded toward the final chapter of Hawkins, the Upside Down and Vecna’s return and Netflix struggled to hold the fort.

As expected, Stranger Things fans turned the chaos into memes almost instantly. Social media was flooded with posts saying things like “Vecna really got Netflix too” and “The real villain is the loading screen”.

The excitement also shows how massive the cultural pull of Stranger Things still is. After years of buildup, leaks, theories, character predictions and emotional goodbyes from the cast, the finale became more than a release. It turned into an event.

While Netflix fixed the issue quickly, the crash ended up proving just how many people were waiting for the final season to drop. A chaotic beginning, sure, but also a reminder of the scale of the show’s fanbase.

Stranger Things Season 5 has arrived and the response is already historic. If this premiere is any indication, the conversation is only going to get bigger from here.

Marcello Hernandez and Skyler Gisondo Join Shrek 5 as Fergus and Farkle

0

Shrek fans, we officially have an update that feels like nostalgia wrapped in excitement. Marcello Hernandez and Skyler Gisondo have joined the cast of Shrek 5 as Fergus and Farkle, two of Shrek and Fiona’s beloved ogre triplets. It’s the first major casting announcement for the new generation of the franchise, and the internet is already buzzing about how perfectly both actors fit.

Marcello Hernandez, who rose to fame as one of SNL’s standout younger comedians, has been on a steady rise with his mix of charm, comedic timing and effortless screen presence. Bringing him into the Shrek universe feels like the right move. Fergus has always had a mischievous, slightly chaotic streak, and Marcello’s energy fits that tone almost too well.

Skyler Gisondo, on the other hand, has been one of Hollywood’s most consistent scene stealers for years. From Booksmart to The Righteous Gemstones and Santa Clarita Diet, he knows how to play awkward, sweet, earnest and hilarious characters all at once. As Farkle, the more cautious and thoughtful of the brothers, he’s going to shine in every comedic setup DreamWorks throws at him.

What makes this casting especially exciting is that it signals a clear direction for Shrek 5. While the original cast is expected to return, the new generation of characters is finally being positioned to play a bigger role. Fergus and Farkle aren’t just background babies anymore. With seasoned comedic actors stepping in, it looks like DreamWorks wants to push the story forward while keeping the classic Shrek humour that defined the franchise.

Fans are also happy that the studio is bringing in voices with real comedic polish instead of stiff celebrity cameos. Both Marcello and Skyler have proven that they can carry humour without losing heart, which has always been the magic of the Shrek films.

Shrek 5 has been in development for years and expectations are high. The return of the franchise already carries emotional weight for millions who grew up with Shrek, and the first casting reveal sets a very promising tone.

Aamir Khan Calls Dharmendra a Gentle Giant Reveals He Saw Sunny Deols Lahore 1947

Aamir Khan Calls Dharmendra a Gentle Giant Reveals He Saw Sunny Deols Lahore 1947

Aamir Khan recently remembered late actor Dharmendra and called him underrated, despite his mastery over different genres. Speaking at the International Film Festival of India, the actor said, “Well, I’ve grown up watching him. He was known as the action hero and the He-man. And of course, he was extremely good in portraying these strong characters in action films. But I don’t know whether people have really noticed, I think he’s underrated.”

Khan continued, “His performances in romance or different genres are so great. He’s done so well in comedy. My God, he’s done amazing comedy, romance, and dramas. According to me, Dharamji was right up there… And what a handsome person.”

The actor also expressed his regret over not being able to attend Dharmendra’s prayer meet which took place on November 27.
For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan never shared the screen with Dharmendra, but he appeared as a child actor in the film Yaadon Ki Baarat, which starred Dharmendra, Vijay Arora, Tariq Khan and Zeenat Aman among others. Khan also produced Sunny Deol’s yet-unreleased film Lahore 1947. The actor revealed that they had the chance to show Dharmendra the film.
“In fact, ‘Lahore’, the film we’ve made with Sunny. I had the good fortune of showing him the film, so he’s seen the film. It’s not released yet, of course, but I was so glad, because this was one of his favourite scripts. So, I’m so glad he got to see the film.”
The Lagaan actor further called Dharmendra a great actor and a gentle giant and continued, “Dharamji was not only a fine actor, but he was a great human being. He was so gentle. He was like a gentle giant, and he was very loving no matter who he would meet… He was a great actor, and it’s a great loss for all of us. He’s really an institution. He had such a command over his language. Unki zubaan itni saaf thi… It was so soft that it was amazing to hear him, even in live events when he would speak… I remember, I was there at the book launch for Yusuf Saab , and there he spoke. He spoke with such dignity. Really, it’s a big loss for all of us. I’m fortunate I got to spend some time with him.”

The legendary actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89.

Suniel Shetty REVEALS why he rejects south film offers

Suniel Shetty REVEALS why he rejects south film offers

Actor Suniel Shetty has opened up about why he rarely signs films from the South despite being a familiar name across industries. Speaking at the Lallantop Adda 2025 in Delhi, the Bollywood star revealed that while he regularly receives offers from filmmakers in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, most roles pitched to him fall into one category: villains.

According to Suniel, a trend has emerged in South cinema where Bollywood actors are frequently cast as antagonists to amplify the hero’s on-screen presence. “I do get offers from the South,” he said. “But you will notice that most of them are negative roles. They want to cast the Hindi heroes as powerful… from an antagonistic point of view. That may work for the audience, but it’s something I don’t enjoy doing repeatedly.”
The actor clarified that this pattern is the primary reason he turns down most such projects. However, he has made notable exceptions, especially when the project holds personal significance. Suniel revealed that he agreed to appear in Rajinikanth’s Darbar solely to fulfil a long-cherished dream. “I did a film with Rajini sir only because I wanted to tick that box of having worked with him,” he said, calling it a milestone moment in his career.

He recently appeared in a cameo in the Tulu film Jai, which has become one of the most widely screened Tulu releases in recent years. Suniel took up the role purely to support regional cinema from Karnataka. “I wanted to encourage the film and my language,” he shared.

Discussing the evolving landscape of Indian cinema, Suniel added that language no longer limits a film’s success. He said, “Today, there is no language barrier. If any barrier exists, it’s due to content. Good content crosses all boundaries.”

On the work front, Suniel was seen in Hunter 2, Kesari Veer, and Nadaaniyan. He will next feature in the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle and is also gearing up for the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3, expected to begin filming early next year.
