Lewis Hamilton Took Beyoncé & Jay-Z On 200 MPH Hot Lap Before Max Verstappen Won Las Vegas Grand Prix

Amid all the glitz and high-speed spectacle at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix, seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton thrilled spectators by hitting 200 mph during a viral hot lap with pop icons Beyoncé and Jay‑Z. Meanwhile, the actual Las Vegas Grand Prix race results were thrown into upheaval as two championship contenders were stunningly disqualified for a technical infraction.
The drama began when Hamilton invited Beyoncé and Jay-Z into the cockpit of a Ferrari track car during downtime at the famed Las Vegas Strip circuit. The British racer was seen in a video shared via X getting into the car with the “Crazy in Love” superstar, who sat shotgun.
“I’m sweating,” Beyoncé said while fanning herself shortly after taking off. Beyonce and Jay-Z, who also rode shotgun during a ride with Hamilton, cheered throughout their laps around the track. At one point during the video, Hamilton casually noted, “I think we hit 200 [mph] down that street.”
“That was crazy.” Beyoncé, dressed in a head-turning Louis Vuitton racing suit and later a red leather outfit, followed up the ride with a gracious nod to Hamilton. “Thank you so much. Good luck tonight.”
But on the competitive side of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, it was considerably more controversial. The race initially appeared to proceed in textbook fashion: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the event, followed across the line by his title rival Lando Norris of McLaren F1 Team in second and Oscar Piastri in fourth, with Hamilton lagging in tenth place.
But the finish order proved only temporary as a post-race inspection found both McLaren cars’ rear skid blocks had worn below the mandated minimum 9 mm thickness, in breach of F1 rules. Consequently, both Norris and Piastri were disqualified, elevating Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli to second and third place.
For Norris, who had entered Las Vegas holding a healthy lead in the drivers’ standings, the penalty was especially costly. His gap over Verstappen now stands at just 24 points with two races remaining and 58 points still on offer.
McLaren later issued a public apology, suggesting the wear was unintentional and the result of unexpected bottoming-out as well as shortened practice time due to weather. The FIA, while accepting no deliberate intent to skirt the rules, confirmed disqualification was the only permissible outcome under current regulations.
With just two rounds left in the 2025 season—upcoming races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi—the title fight has been dramatically reopened. Get up to speed by watching both race videos above.
Ranbir Kapoor Halts Ramayana Shoot to Film Love and War?
Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on two big budgets films, Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari. The actor had previously allocated his dates to both, but a recent report by Deccan Chronicle has stated that he made some changes to the same. It is being discussed that Ranbir might have to allot his dates for Ramayana to Love & War now.
The report stated that Ranbir wanted to finish filming for Ramayana first. He was then willing to complete his remaining portions for Love & War. However, as Ramayana’s shoot is taking much more time than he had expected, the actor has reportedly decided to finish Love & War before and reallocate his dates to the two movies.
Also, Ranbir had initially planned to finish filming both parts of Ramayana before he dedicated himself to Love & War. But Ramayana’s progress has been slow, so Ranbir couldn’t help but allocate the dates he kept for Ramayana Part 2 to Love & War. This could also change the second instalment’s release date. As Ramayana Part 1 is meant to release on Diwali 2026, the second part will release on Diwali 2027.
In Ramayana, Ranbir stars alongside Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor and more. As for the cast of Love & War, it includes the actor with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Love & War is slated to release on August 14, 2026.
While the actor is working on these two projects, he is also slated to star in Animal’s sequel Animal Park, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, Ranbir hasn’t opened up about the details of the project yet. Vanga has also not disclosed the major details but fans have been curious about updates for a long time now.

‘The White Lotus’ Season 4: New Details Emerge As HBO Series Heads To France

The next group of wealthy, dysfunctional luxury resort guests is officially headed to France. HBO has confirmed that pre-production for the fourth season of the Emmy-winning anthology series The White Lotus has commenced, with casting now in the preliminary stages and a swanky French hotel setting locked in for the upcoming installment.

Casey Bloys, chairman and CEO of HBO and its streaming platform Max, addressed the status of the highly anticipated fourth season during a recent press presentation regarding the network’s 2026 slate. While specific details on the plot remain under wraps, Bloys confirmed that series creator Mike White is currently writing the scripts and has begun the search for the next ensemble cast.
“Mike is writing, and he’s just starting the casting process,” Bloys said during the presentation, per Collider. “It’s very, very early so I don’t have any names or anything like that, but he’s just starting.”

The confirmation of France as the filming location aligns with months of speculation that the show would head to a European backdrop following its third season in Thailand, which aired earlier this year. While that season explored death and spirituality in Southeast Asia, the move to France suggests a possible return to the cheeky cultural clashes seen in the show’s sophomore season in Sicily.
Sources close to the production indicated that scouting has focused on two primary regions: Paris and the French Riviera. This dual focus hints that the fourth season may split its time between the urban luxury of the capital and the coastal opulence of the south, offering a different visual texture than the singular resort settings of previous years.

Unlike the first three seasons, which were filmed at stunning Four Seasons properties in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, respectively, the production will reportedly not be utilizing the famed luxury hotel chain for the French installment. The production team is instead scouting historic properties, including the Ritz Paris and Hotel Lutetia, though no contracts have been officially signed.
Bloys noted that given the current status of the writing and casting, filming is projected to begin in the spring of 2026. This timeline places the likely premiere date in late 2026 or early 2027, maintaining the production gap that has become standard for the complex international shoots required by the series.
Showrunner White has previously hinted at his desire to evolve the show’s visual language. Following the season three finale, White noted he wanted to move away from the “crashing waves against rocks vernacular” that defined the island settings of the first three installments. A shift to a continental European setting, potentially mixing urban and coastal environments, appears to fulfill that planned creative pivot.
Since its debut in 2021, The White Lotus has become a critical and commercial juggernaut for HBO, known for revitalizing the careers of its cast members and generating significant tourism interest in its filming locations, along with elevating the careers of stars like Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, and Sydney Sweeney.
Casting announcements are expected to roll out over the coming months as production gears up for the 2026 shoot.
