Therefore, he has no choice but to give Bhansali all the dates that were originally meant for Ramayana Part 2. This means that Part 2 may not be able to reach theatres as per plan at the end of 2026.” The delay is not yet final, but it appears likely.

Shah Rukh Khan attended the Global Peace Honours 2025 on Saturday at the Gateway in Mumbai, where he paid tribute to the victims of major terror attacks and acknowledged the courage of India’s security forces. The event, organised by the Divyaj Foundation and led by Amruta Fadnavis, brought together survivors, families of victims, national leaders, dignitaries and members of the film industry for a collective remembrance.

During his address, Shah Rukh remembered those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Pahalgam terror incident and the recent blasts in Delhi. He also offered his respect to the personnel who were martyred in these tragedies.
Sharing a specially written set of lines dedicated to the armed forces, he said: “My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts, and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks. Today, I have been asked to recite these four beautiful lines for the brave soldiers and jawans of the country… When someone asks you what you do, say with pride that I protect the country.”
He further added, “If someone asks you how much you earn, smile slightly and say, I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people. And if they turn around and ask you again, ‘Aren’t you ever afraid?’ Look them in the eye and say, ‘Those who attack us feel it’… Let us all take steps towards peace together. Let us forget the caste, creed, and discrimination around us and walk the path of humanity, so that the martyrdom of our heroes for the peace of our country is not in vain.”

With a current global haul of $84.6 million, the heist film has yet to enter the top 40 highest-grossing titles of 2025. To reach that spot, the Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson-starrer must surpass the current 40th title, A Working Man, which stands at $88.2 million worldwide (Box Office Mojo), a gap it’s expected to close within the next few days.
Now, the question is: how does Now You See Me: Now You Don’t compare with the worldwide earnings of the first two films, both of which were commercially successful ventures? Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, officially went on floors today, November 23. The team conducted a muhurat ceremony to mark the beginning of the shoot, attended by Triptii Dimri, producer Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Shiv Chanana and megastar Chiranjeevi, who joined as the chief guest. Although Prabhas was present for the puja, he was not seen in the photos shared by the production team.

The film marks Vanga’s first collaboration with Prabhas, and anticipation has been steadily building since October, when the director released a special birthday surprise for the actor. On October 24, Vanga unveiled what he described as a “Sound Story,” an audio-led teaser that sets the tone for Spirit.
The teaser opens with a prison backdrop, introducing a tense exchange between a jailer and his team as they prepare to handle a former police officer-turned-prisoner. The most discussed moment arrives when Prabhas’s voice is heard saying, “Sir, since childhood I have one bad habit,” hinting at the character’s intense personality.

Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is positioned as a large-scale pan-world action drama with Prabhas playing a fierce and uncompromising cop. Triptii Dimri joins him in a key role, adding to the film’s growing buzz.
The “Sound Story,” released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, has already generated significant online engagement. By unveiling the teaser on Prabhas’s birthday, the makers offered fans an early glimpse into what Sandeep Reddy Vanga describes as one of the most ambitious projects of his career.
With filming now underway, Spirit moves into its next phase of production, and further details are expected in the coming months.
