Udne Ki Aasha, the Star Plus television show produced by Rahul Tewary and Rolling Tales Production, has seen engaging drama with Sachin (Kanwar Dhillon) and Sailee (Neha Harsora) spotting the deadly fall from the terrace of popular actor Vikas aka Sanam (Mohammad Nazim). However, Vikas’s manager told them that Vikas had gone to stay at his farmhouse, while she was seen mysteriously shipping out a huge bag from the residence of Vikas. When Sachin and Sailee reported her to the police, stating that she had hidden Vikas’s body inside the bag, she opened the bag to show her clothes arranged in it.
Sachin and Sailee continued to be suspicious of the manager. The upcoming episode, however, will see Sachin looking for more clues when he comes face-to-face with a guy who has been stalking Sanam for a while. He will tell Sachin that he, too, saw Sanam falling off his terrace. In fact, he will show Sachin a video wherein the actor would have been engaged in a brawl with his manager. The contents of the video will further intensify Sachin’s doubts.
What will happen next?
Set in a Marathi backdrop, Star Plus shows Udne Ki Aasha to depict a wife’s roadblock in the form of a non-cooperative husband, and her challenge to make him transform for the sake of her and the family’s progress. Kanwar Dhillon essays the character of Sachin, who is a taxi driver and earns his livelihood with it. At the same time, Neha Harsora portrays the role of Sailee, a florist who dabbles in various small businesses and makes a living out of her other chores, in the show Udne Ki Aasha.

Dharmendra DIES at 89: Actor Dharmendra breathed his last at the age of 89 at his residence in Mumbai on Monday, November 24. The veteran actor was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month after he complained of respiratory issues . Often referred to as the He-Man of Bollywood, Dharmendra won audience’s love for over six decades. His last on-screen appearance will be in Ikkis, set to release on December 25. In a video that has been posted by ANI, both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen arriving at the crematorium.

For the uninitiated, Avatar 2 has already collected $23 million in pre-sales. It will also surpass F9’s $30.1 million in pre-sales by today or Tuesday. It will thus set a new record for Hollywood movies in China post-COVID after beating F9 and becoming the biggest pre-sales post-COVID in China.
Zootopia 2 is tracking to beat Avatar: The Way of Water‘s $57.1 million and Godzilla Vs Kong’s $69.2 million opening weekend collections in China. The film is scheduled to release on November 26.

About Dharmendra
Born on December 8, 1935 in Nasrali, Punjab, British India (present-day Punjab, India), Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025 at age 89. In an impressive career spanning 65 years, the veteran superstar featured in over 250 films and was even honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2012. Active till the very end, the actor’s last theatrical release will be Ikkis – a war drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The film will shed light on the Battle of Basantar which took place during the 1971 India Pakistan War. It stars Agastya Nanda as 2nd Lt Arun Khetarpal.
On the personal front, Dharam ji is survived by his 2 wives – Prakash Kaur – whom he married in 1954 and actress Hema Malini – whom he married in 1980, his 6 children – Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta, Ajeeta, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol and 13 grandchildren, including Karan, Rajveer and Dharam.

A self-portrait of Frida Kahlo–the surrealist Mexican artist who was famously portrayed by Salma Hayek in the 2002 biopic Frida--officially became the most expensive artwork ever made by a woman when it fetched $54.7 million at a Sotheby’s auction in New York.

The anonymous buyer closed out a four-minute bidding battle over the phone with the purchase of El Sueño (La Cama), or The Dream (The Bed), per Barron’s. In the 1940 oil painting, Kahlo is shown wrapped in a golden blanket embroidered with green tendrils, which extend beyond the fabric boundary and directly onto her face, pillow and sheets. Ominously, a full-size skeleton wound in dynamite fuses rests above the bedposts.

The subjects in the foreground are all floating in a cloudy blue, lavender and gray sky. Sotheby’s notes that the work is “certainly [a] a spectral meditation on the porous boundary between sleep and death.”El Sueño (La Cama) set a new benchmark for female-crated artworks, usurping the record from Georgia O’Keefe’s Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1,  which sold for $44.4 million in 2014 at an American art sale at Sotheby’s in New York, far exceeding its $15 million high estimate.

“A full decade plus after the landmark O’Keeffe sale, the market has spoken and set a new global benchmark,” Suzanne Gyorgy, a partner in Emigrant Bank’s fine art practice, told Barron’s. “Slowly but surely, women artists are claiming their rightful place—recognized as accomplished, talented, top-tier, and innovative in their own right.”

El Sueño is the second painting to fetch a mega-sum in the past few days. Sotheby’s New York Sales series of auctions in mid-November also saw Gustav Klimt’s Portrait of Elisabeth Lederer, from the collection of the cosmetics executive Leonard Lauder, sell for an astronomical $236 million, blowing past its $150 million estimate to become the most expensive modern artwork ever sold. The six-foot-tall canvas was painted by the Austrian master between 1914 and 1916 and shows Lederer, a young heiress and daughter of Klimt’s patrons, draped in a Chinese robe.

Portrait of Elisabeth Lederer is also the second-most expensive piece of art ever sold period, behind only (and distantly) Salvator Mundi by Leonardo da Vinci, which fetched $450 million in 2017.

He elaborated, “When we were shooting for that scene, Dharmendra was below, and I was on top of the hill. He opened a trunk and tried to pick up the ammunition. He did it once, couldn’t get it right, and did it again, still failing. He became very irritated. I don’t know what he did next, but he loaded the gun with real bullets and fired. I heard a ‘whoosh’ as the bullet went past my ear while I was on the hill. I was lucky to be unhurt. There were many such incidents during the making of Sholay, and it remains a very special film for all of us.”
