Rasha’s Tollywood debut
Rasha Thadani is set to step into Telugu cinema opposite Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, a debutant from the family of superstar Mahesh Babu. Director Ajay Bhupathi is helming the project, which is expected to hit theatres in the second half of this year.
The young actress appears confident about making a strong impression with her South debut. The makers released a behind-the-scenes video that captures several moments from the film’s shoot. Going by the clip, Rasha seems to be thoroughly enjoying her time on the sets while working on her debut project.
Before this, Rasha made her Hindi film debut with Azaad (2025), where she shared screen space with actors like Ajay Devgn. Viewers quickly noticed her screen presence and praised her natural ease in front of the camera. The experience helped boost her confidence and prepared her for bigger opportunities.
Eyeing a multi-lingual future
Rasha has also built a strong presence on social media, with over 3.2 million followers on Instagram. She frequently shares photoshoots and glimpses from her daily life, which have helped her connect with fans online.
Her mother, actor Raveena Tandon, is known to guide her closely, offering advice drawn from her own long experience in the film industry.
Rasha appears to be eyeing a multi-lingual career, with Tollywood possibly being just the beginning. The 21-year-old actress also gained attention for the song Uyi Amma from her debut Hindi film, which went viral for its energetic presentation.
In Hindi, she is awaiting the release of Laikey Laikaa, described as a “dark love story,” co-starring Abhay Verma. The actress has said that her acting process has evolved as she learns to clearly separate herself from the characters she portrays. The film, expected to release this summer, promises to be an intense romantic drama.
