Rekha’s Airport Attitude Sparks Controversy: Fans Call Her ‘Difficult

The bond between celebrities and their fans is often cherished, but it can also become strained when real-life situations clash with public expectations. A similar moment unfolded recently involving veteran actress Rekha, whose brief and awkward encounter with a fan at an airport sparked widespread discussion online.

Rekha was spotted arriving at the airport with her manager, dressed in an elegant yet understated outfit—a beige top paired with flared pyjamas, topped with a long black coat-style jacket. Her hair was tied in her signature large bun, and she accessorised the look with her trademark oversized sunglasses. As always, the legendary star exuded grace and poise.

However, a viral video from the airport captured a moment that divided the internet. A woman approached Rekha requesting a photograph, but the actress gently moved aside while her manager intervened to prevent the fan from getting too close. Rekha did not stop for the picture and continued walking, though she greeted the paparazzi with her characteristic warm smile and wave.

The interaction quickly inflamed social media. Many users expressed disappointment, comparing her behaviour to other celebrities known for being guarded in public. Comments ranged from critical to sarcastic: “Then what’s the difference between Jaya and Rekha?” wrote one user, while another remarked, “Iss age mein bhi itna attitude!” Some accused her of being friendly only with established stars, with comments like, “She behaves nicely only with big celebrities, not newcomers.” Others joked that “Jaya Bachchan ka asar aagaya hai inpe.”

Yet, not everyone condemned Rekha. Several users defended her, pointing out that celebrities are often overwhelmed, tired, or simply in a hurry. One person wrote, “Yaar… kitni baar hume bhi pictures nikalwane ka dil nahi karta. She’s human too.” Another supporter remarked, “Haan, photograph ke chakkar mein unki flight nikal jaye. Logon ko bas negativity chaiye.” Many also sympathised with the fan but believed the situation was being blown out of proportion.

While the internet continues to debate who was right or wrong, the incident highlights a recurring truth: celebrities live under constant scrutiny, and even a moment of hesitation can be magnified. Rekha’s reaction may have disappointed some, but it also serves as a reminder that public figures juggle personal boundaries with public expectations—an often impossible balance.

UFC, Paramount+ Announce First Fight Schedule For 2026

Paramount and UFC have unveiled the full live-event schedule for the first quarter of 2026, including the highly anticipated UFC 326 and UFC 327 fight cards.

The fight slate was revealed amid the dramatic outcome of UFC 323, where Petr Yan reclaimed the bantamweight title with a unanimous decision win over Merab Dvalishvili. In the co-main event, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja’s five-year title reign ended abruptly after a gruesome arm injury just 26 seconds into his bout with Joshua Van, awarding Van the championship under truly rare circumstances.

Maycee Barber also returned from a 21-month layoff to defeat Karine Silva by unanimous decision, re-establishing herself in the flyweight division, while former two-division champ Henry Cejudo retired after a bloody loss to Payton Talbott.

Beginning in 2026, Paramount+ will become the exclusive home for all UFC events in the U.S. and Latin America, giving subscribers access to every numbered event and UFC Fight Night at no additional cost—a major shift away from the sport’s longstanding pay-per-view model.

“With Paramount and UFC combining, this is the fight that everyone wants,” said former interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje, who is set to face Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett at UFC 324 on Jan. 24.

The newly announced 2026 slate begins with UFC 324 on Jan. 24 in Las Vegas, followed by UFC 325 on Jan. 31 in Sydney, where Alexander Volkanovski and Alexandre Lopes will meet in a rematch. On March 7, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira will square off for the BMF belt in their UFC 326 rematch in Las Vegas. Former bantamweight champ Sean O’Malley also returns in a rare undercard outing at UFC 324 against Song Yadong.

The UFC’s lower-profile Fight Night events are scheduled for Feb. 7 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Feb. 21 in Houston, and Feb. 28 in Mexico City. Additional Fight Night cards are set for March 14 at the Apex, March 21 at The O2 in London, and March 28 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

Dhurandhar 2: Will Ranveer Singh’s Character Die In The Sequel? Fan Theory Goes Viral & It’s Mind-Boggling!

Disclaimer: Major Spoilers Ahead For Dhurandhar & Dhurandhar 2
Dhurandhar, Aditya Dhar’s second directorial venture after the critically and commercially successful military action film Uri: The Surgical Strike, is now playing in theaters. The explosive spy-action thriller has earned rave reviews from critics and viewers, currently holding a strong IMDb rating of 8.1/10.
The film’s final scene also confirms that a sequel to Dhurandhar will release on March 19, 2026. With only a few months left for Dhurandhar 2 to arrive in theaters, some fans have made a keen observation about Ranveer Singh’s character. As viewers know, he appears as undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazar, but the final scene reveals his real name – Jaskirat Singh Rangi. A circulating fan theory about his true identity raises interesting questions, and based on it, we explore whether it might hint at the possibility of his character’s death in Dhurandhar 2.
Dhurandhar Fan Theory About Ranveer Singh’s Character – Uri: The Surgical Strike Connection
Recently, fans pointed out an intriguing detail that appears to link Dhurandhar to the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike. In one of the latter’s emotionally impactful scenes, Kirti Kulhari’s character, Flight Lieutenant Seerat Kaur, tells Vicky Kaushal’s character that her husband’s name was Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Army officer who was killed in an ambush. This has led to a compelling question: Is it merely a coincidence that Ranveer Singh’s character in Dhurandhar shares the exact same name?

Some fans might believe this could indicate a deliberate connection between Dhurandhar and Uri: The Surgical Strike, suggesting that Ranveer Singh’s character may have already been introduced in the 2019 film as part of a potential “spy universe” planned by the makers. Others may argue it might simply be a naming coincidence, especially since Hamza, later revealed as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, is shown as a death-row convict in Dhurandhar, a stark contrast to the martyred Army officer referenced in Uri: The Surgical Strike.

Will Ranveer Singh’s Character Die In Dhurandhar 2?
If the above fan theory that Jaskirat Singh Rangi in Dhurandhar is the same person mentioned in Uri: The Surgical Strike holds any weight, it opens up several possibilities regarding his fate in the sequel. Based on the film’s interpreted timeline, which appears to span events from the 1999 Kandahar hijacking to sometime after the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the future of Ranveer Singh’s character could unfold in different ways.
(1) One scenario is that Jaskirat Singh Rangi completes his next mission, eliminating his new target, Bade Sahab, a criminal mastermind, but dies in the aftermath of the operation. (2) Another possibility is that after finishing the mission, he returns to India, formally joins the Army, and is later killed in an ambush, aligning with the reference made in Uri: The Surgical Strike. (3) A third interpretation is that he continues to operate deep inside enemy territory, carrying out covert missions unknown even to his family, keeping his whereabouts shrouded in secrecy.
Whether Ranveer Singh’s character is genuinely connected to the man mentioned in the 2019 film and whether he survives the events of the sequel is something only Dhurandhar 2 can hopefully answer. Until then, all we can do is wait and watch how the story unfolds.
Dhurandhar – Story & Cast
The spy action thriller follows a covert Indian intelligence mission that recruits a man, Hamza Ali Mazar (Ranveer Singh), and sends him as an undercover operative. Sent deep into Karachi’s criminal and terror networks, he must survive betrayal, violence, and shifting loyalties while working to dismantle the syndicate from within. The star-studded film also features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.

R Madhavan on Dhurandhar part 2, “There is a lot of my character in the second part”

R Madhavan on Dhurandhar part 2, “There is a lot of my character in the second part”

R Madhavan is unrecognizable as Ajay Sanyal, the National Security Adviser, in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar.

While the other actors of the film have been advised to not give interviews, Mr Adviser Madhavan opens up about his character and experience of working on what he calls a life-changing experience. “Playing this character, the National Security Adviser, has opened up an entire new world for me. It’s like being thrown into a universe that I knew only in shadowy details. Thanks to Dhurandhar, I know what National Security means, the army-like discipline, the dedication and sacrifices, including the sacrifice of lives.”
Madhavan is all praise for his director. “Aditya Dhar is a monk. Through all the chaos of making a film so dense and intense, he would sit there for the anxieties to settle down. What a fine human being! After working with Aditya in Dhurandhar, I want to work with him again and again.”
Madhavan promises much more of himself in the sequel to Dhurandhar. “My screen presence is limited in the first part. But in the second part, which will release in March, there is a lot of my character as he trains the Ranveer’s character in skills of espionage warfare.”
Madhavan says he had a blessed 2025. “I started the year with Hisaab Barabar. I am ending the year with Dhurandhar, which is one of the most important films of my career. I’ve had the privilege of working with the best directors in the most creative and productive phase of their career: Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Aanand L Rai, and now Aditya Dhar. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
