Meeting Telugu superstar Allu Arjun is a dream for millions of fans, but a recently surfaced podcast clip has ignited unexpected controversy around what such an interaction might actually entail. A brand strategist’s claims about a long list of strict protocols allegedly followed before meeting the Pushpa star have left social media stunned and deeply divided.
The viral clip features Kaveri Baruah, who previously worked in the brand strategy department at Royal Enfield. Recounting her professional experience on a podcast, Kaveri described what she called an “interesting encounter” with Allu Arjun. According to her, meeting the actor came with a document outlining as many as 42 dos and don’ts.
Referring to the star’s stature in the Telugu film industry, she said, “South stars come with entourage. Before meeting him, we had a note which had 42 dos and don’ts, and they have manager ka manager ka manager.” What truly shocked listeners was her claim that some of the rules allegedly included not looking into the actor’s eyes and not shaking his hand.
When the interviewer asked why such a rule existed, Kaveri candidly responded, “Mere ko kya pata? That’s the rule.” When pressed further about other restrictions, she chose not to elaborate, adding fuel to the mystery and controversy.
Unbelievable rules of Allu Arjun.

The clip spread rapidly across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, triggering mixed reactions. Several users dismissed the claims outright. One user sarcastically commented, “Those aren’t his rules, those are his wife’s.” Another netizen strongly refuted the story, claiming a personal experience: “My father met Allu Arjun during Pushpa 2 shooting in Visakhapatnam. No bouncer drama, no managers. All cooked-up lies.”
However, not all responses defended the actor. A critical post read, “@alluarjun is one of the most overrated actors and extremely arrogant, based on personal accounts. No one talks about how nepotism fuels the Telugu film industry.”
With opinions sharply split, the claims remain unverified. Neither Allu Arjun nor his team has issued any clarification or response to the viral podcast clip so far.
On the professional front, the actor remains firmly in demand. Following the massive success of the Pushpa franchise, Allu Arjun has two high-profile projects lined up—one with Atlee and another with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Though primarily associated with Telugu cinema, both films are expected to be mounted as pan-India releases, further cementing his national stardom.
