Amid buzz around her upcoming wedding, Rashmika Mandanna has already jumped back into work. Variety India has reported that the actor has quietly begun shooting for Atlee’s next directorial with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6.
Rashmika joined the film’s Mumbai schedule on Tuesday and will continue shooting until mid-February. Following this stint, she is expected to take a short break for her wedding to Vijay Deverakonda, which is reportedly set for February 26 in Rajasthan. During the current schedule, Rashmika is filming key portions alongside Allu Arjun, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jim Sarbh. The unit is undertaking an intensive, month-long indoor shoot, focusing largely on high-octane action set pieces and emotionally driven dramatic scenes.
This project marks Rashmika and Allu Arjun’s reunion after the blockbuster Pushpa franchise. However, insiders suggest the dynamic between the two actors will be drastically different this time. Rashmika is said to be playing a negative character, described as the boldest and most daring role of her career, marking a sharp departure from her previous screen image.
