Paalin Kabak opens up about his unforgettable experience working with Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man Season 3. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Paalin calls Manoj a “living legend” and a “walking institution of acting”. Having admired him since his days as a student at the National School of Drama, Paalin long wished to share the screen with him — a wish that finally came true. Paalin Kabak Calls The Family Man Co-Star Manoj Bajpayee ‘A Living Legend’
When asked about his experience of working with Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man Season 3, Paalin Kabak said, “Manoj Bajpayee ke saath kaam karke kya hi kahun. I mean, I really do consider him a living legend. Sach mein woh ek legend insaan hain — ek walking institution of acting. Jo kala unke andar bhari hui hai na, main daave se keh sakta hoon ki internationally, globally, shayad unke jaisa koi aur actor ho hi nahi. Unke saath kaam karke jo satisfaction ka level mila, that was on a completely different level. Sabse pehli baat toh yeh. Doosri baat, jab main National School of Drama mein tha, tab Manoj Bajpayee ji wahan aaye the 5 din ka acting workshop dene ke liye.”
He continued, “Us waqt main ek jawan sa student tha, abhi bhi jawan hoon, lekin tab aur bhi zyada student-mode mein tha. Aur mere andar hamesha se ek ichha, ek sapna tha ki yaar, kabhi na kabhi, kisi bhi tarah, mujhe Manoj Bajpayee ji ke saath kaam karna hai. Unke saath screen share karna hai — chahe ek minute ka role mile, chahe ek ghanta — bas kaam karna hai. Woh sapna, The Family Man mein jaake poora hua. It really happened. Aur mere liye woh ek bahut hi surreal moment tha. Aur unke saath acting karna, it was indeed like a masterclass. Ek aisi masterclass of acting jisko aap kisi bhi paise se kharid nahi sakte. Maine us masterclass ko experience kiya. Manoj Bajpayee aise hi hain.”
Paalin Recalls Funny BTS Moments With Manoj
Speaking of the funny BTS moments from The Family Man sets, Paalin said, “Funny moments toh poore shoot bhar the, kyunki Manoj Bajpayee ji bohot seriously hasa dete hain. Toh ek specific funny moment choose karna mushkil hai. Lekin haan, ek special moment main zaroor yaad karta hoon, ek din unhone sabko bulaya, aur dekha ki unhone khud apne haathon se mutton curry banaya tha. Aur kya hi zabardast, mutton curry banayi thi! Aaj tak uska swaad mere zubaan pe hai. I have truly savoured that taste. Yeh wala moment mere liye bohot special tha, unhone khud banakar humein khilaya.”
About The Family Man Season 3
The Family Man Season 3 was released on November 21, 2025. Comprising seven episodes, it quickly became a major hit, setting records as Prime Video India’s most-watched series of 2025 in its first week. The series features the return of Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, alongside Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.
New cast members include Jaideep Ahlawat as the antagonist Rukma and Nimrat Kaur as Meera. The plot centres on Srikant facing a conspiracy in Northeast India amidst personal and professional turmoil. Created, written, and directed by Raj & DK, with Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth joining as directors. The season ends on a cliffhanger, with Manoj Bajpayee confirming that Season 4 is in development.
