Priyanka Chopra, who is set to make a major comeback in Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi, recently spent time with Mahesh Babu’s family. The rare gathering coincided with the birthday celebrations of SS Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya, and was shared by Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter, Sitara.
A Special Birthday Moment
Sitara shared an unseen picture capturing the gathering, featuring Priyanka Chopra, her mother Madhu Chopra, Namrata Shirodkar, Sitara herself, and SS Karthikeya. She captioned the post, “Happy birthday, Karth anna!” SS Karthikeya reposted the picture with a simple “Thank you.”
Priyanka also shared a previously unseen video in which she danced with the birthday boy to the iconic song Urvashi Urvashi. She wrote, “Take it easy, my friend. To the man who silently holds up the fort — happy birthday, SS Karthikeya! So happy to be dancing through this movie with you.”
Priyanka Chopra’s Telugu Film Experience
Ahead of Varanasi’s grand launch in Hyderabad, Priyanka engaged with fans during an #AskPCJ session on X, answering questions about the project and her experience in the Telugu film industry. When asked about her experience and whether she had tried local cuisine, she replied, “It’s still early days for me on the movie, but it’s been adiri poyindi (amazing)! Also, the biryani in Hyderabad is the best in the world.”
