Hema Malini looked devastated as she was spotted outside Mumbai’s Pawan Hans Crematorium, where veteran actor and her husband, Dharmendra, was taken for his last rites. As evident from the videos that have gone viral on social media, Hema Malini looks quiet and devastated as she arrives at Mumbai crematorium. While paps gather in huge numbers to capture a glimpse of the star, cops try hard to clear way for her car to enter the crematorium.
On November 11, actor Hema Malini broke her silence on false reports surrounding Dharmendra’s health. She refuted all rumours that the star had passed away. Hema took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her disappointment over the reports.
“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy,” Hema Malini wrote.
The rumours, had started on November 10 and sparked massive concern among fans and the film fraternity. But Dharmendra’s family was quick to declare them false. His daughter, Esha Deol, too had issued a strong statement on Instagram
She wrote, “THE MEDIA SEEMS TO BE IN OVERDRIVE AND SPREADING FALSE NEWS. MY FATHER IS STABLE & RECOVERING. WE REQUEST EVERYONE TO GIVE OUR FAMILY PRIVACY. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS FOR PAPAS SPEEDY RECOVERY.” Esha had also reassured fans that the actor was under medical care and reportedly stable. Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital yesterday (November 10) after his health turned worse.
