Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is returning to the kind of storytelling he is most known for — simple, emotional family dramas rooted in love and relationships — with his upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari Wagh, and now adds acclaimed lyricist, singer and actor Swanand Kirkire to its cast.
Barjatya, who last directed Uunchai, is best remembered for family classics like Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Vivah, films that focused on relationships, values, and emotional bonds within Indian families. With Yeh Prem Mol Liya, he returns to that familiar space of romance blended with strong family emotions.
