Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed the year-end festivities in a truly special way—by blending Indian tradition with global glamour in New York City. The actor couple celebrated alongside renowned celebrity chef and MasterChef judge Vikas Khanna, marking not just the festive season but also the phenomenal success of Ranveer’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar.
The intimate celebration took place at Vikas Khanna’s acclaimed restaurant, Bungalow, where the space was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers to welcome the star couple. Giving fans a peek into the memorable evening, Vikas shared an Instagram Reel capturing heartfelt and joyful moments from the gathering. One highlight that instantly caught attention was Deepika Padukone making her very first modak, a traditional Indian sweet, under the chef’s guidance.
In the video, Deepika is seen carefully shaping the modak while Ranveer stands beside her, watching attentively and soaking in the moment. Vikas Khanna later feeds the freshly prepared sweets to the couple, making the celebration even more meaningful. Close-up shots of the modaks and traditional moulds added a strong cultural and emotional layer to the festivities.
Sharing the Reel, Vikas Khanna penned a deeply emotional note, calling it the most blessed way to end 2025. He wrote that the celebration symbolized “a new beginning in honor of India,” and revealed that all guests visiting Bungalow that day would be treated to pomegranate and cardamom modaks to mark an auspicious start to 2026. Celebrating Dhurandhar, he proudly added that the film is “standing taller than any film in the world.”
Adding a personal touch, Vikas shared that he made the modaks while standing in front of his parents’ wedding photograph, using moulds he had recently received from the Siddhivinayak Temple, expressing how humbled he felt by the experience.
Ranveer and Deepika have been enjoying a family vacation in New York, with fans frequently spotting them around the city. During the trip, Deepika also attended a Backstreet Boys concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas with her close friend Sneha Ramachander.
On the work front, Dhurandhar, released on December 5, has become a global sensation, crossing the Rs 1100 crore mark worldwide. Deepika, meanwhile, continues her successful streak and will next be seen in King and Atlee’s much-anticipated film alongside Allu Arjun.
