Our December cover star Kartik Aaryan is very much in the spotlight as his upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is just around the corner. Ahead of its release, the actor got candid with us, speaking about his current phase, the constant hustle, and even sharing a rare glimpse into his personal life, including what his idea of a wedding looks like.
When asked what kind of wedding he would like to have, Kartik shared, “Honestly, I haven’t really thought about it much, but I’d like something like my sister Kittu’s wedding, a small, intimate celebration where everyone is genuinely happy.” He added, “What struck me there was how people were just enjoying the moment, maybe a dozen or so close family members. That’s the kind of wedding I’d want.”
He also spoke about how those few days felt like a rare pause in his hectic schedule. “For me, it was also a rare pause from the fast-paced Mumbai life. I was shooting Naagzilla and promoting Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Everything was running at full speed. But for those few days, it felt like stepping into a parallel universe.”
After several delays and back-and-forth on the release front, the film is finally set to arrive in theatres on December 25, 2025. The release also marks Kartik’s return to the big screen after nearly a year and a half. His last outing, Chandu Champion earned strong critical acclaim, making expectations from his comeback even higher.
