Not just Sunny and Bobby, but Dharmendra’s daughter with Hema Malini, Esha Deol, also penned an emotional post while sharing the trailer of Ikkis.
Ikkis will be Dharmendra’s posthumous release. This is the last film the actor shot before passing away in November this year. The legendary actor passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, 2025. His passing leaves behind an unmatched legacy of over six decades. The actor, born as Dharmendra Singh Deol, breathed his last at his residence. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier in November due to respiratory complications.

Meanwhile, Ikkis tells the inspiring true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee, who laid down his life at the age of just 21. The film stars Dharmendra, Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia and Jaideep Ahlawat.
The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan and presented by Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films. Ikkis will be released in theatres on January 1, 2026.
